Yvette Marcel Gibson, 56, of Huntsville, passed away, Saturday, April 23, 2022. She was born July 16, 1965, to the union of George and Sharon Lee (Admire) Bishop.
Yvette was a wonderful wife. She made our house a home. She was a tremendous mother & loving mammie. She attended Gillespie high school & graduated from First Baptist Academy in 1983. She Married Tim Gibson on April 20, 1985. She was a mother of five children Samuel, Philip, Caleb, Hannah, and Rachel.
She was a mammie to eleven grandchildren Brayden, Rylee, Callaway, Ansley, Charlotte, Greta, Vivien, Constance, Preston, Hope, and Beau. She cared a lot for “Lewis”. Yvette was a stay-at-home wife and mom. She worked at Sweet Springs Baptist Academy for several years. She cleaned the Church faithfully. She was an AWANA “Sparks” leader. She was a camp cook. She supplied all the needs for the special events in the church.

“Yvette was truly a helpmeet to me. She thought so much of what I as a pastor never considered. She would come to sit in my office and tell me what was needed. Yvette was a perfect example of a pastor’s wife. She loved and cared for the people of Sweet Springs Baptist. My ministry did so well because of her. She was such a good wife and friend. I LOVE AND MISS HER. Until we meet again “Bishop”, Love Me”.
