Yuanen Ji was 52 when he passed away on November 19, 2014. Born and raised in China, Yuanen graduated Nantong Medical School in 1985 and later received his PhD in Molecular Biology from the National Institute for Medical Research, London, in 1993. Shortly after, he moved to the United States where he settled down and spent the last 20 years of his life.
Yuanen was a straightforward and honest man. He was always simple and kind-hearted towards friends. Above all, he loved his family dearly and will be remembered. There are no words to describe his impact on those around him.
He was the beloved husband of Jie Peng, loving father of Patrick Ji, loving son of BaoHua Ji and Yi Dong, and loving brother of Ji-En Ji.
