WON, Yon Pa January 1, 1927 – May 12, 2013 It is with deep sorrow that the Yong family announces the passing of Yon Pa at her age of 86.
Beloved mother, grandmother and great-grand-mother, she passed away at old age. Yon Pa is lovingly remembered and missed by younger brother Swee-Kim Voon and family; sister-in-law Seng-Nyin Young and family; daughter Lan Kiaw (Wing-Hong Wong); son Leong-Chok; son Raymond (Esther Yong); daughter Lan-Chen (David Shen); son Liong-Kin (Nyuk-Sin Liaw); son Liong-Shin (Xiao-Ling Gu); daughter Jelia Binti Hj Junaidi (Hamdan Bin Abd Hamid)& family; son Liong-Kwong (Ah-Kui Yong), son Thomas (Josephine); daughter Lan-Foong (Kim-Fatt Chin); son Liong-Wei (Yu-Wei Chang); grandsons Michael, Jern Siang, Timothy, Lawrence, Andrew, Jeffery, Alex; granddaughters Julie, Emily (Edward Hsung), Huey Meng (Christopher Unangst), Anita, Yee Mang (Jeffery Ung), Yee Jan, Alicia, Shirley, Laura, Sylvia, Catherine, Alina, Tina; great-granddaughters Saisha, Shali, Hannah; great-grandsons Tanler, Isaac, Trevor, Caleb, Lucas. She was predeceased by her husband Tai-Kim Yong, elder brother Swee-Hing Voon, and daughter-in-law Tung-Lan Chin.
Yon Pa loved her family and dedicated her entire life to them. Many good times were spent around her dinner table enjoying good food and laughter. The Yong family wishes to extend a heartfelt thanks to doctors and nurses and staff at the Lourdes Medical Centre of Burlington County in Willingboro for the care and compassion that was shown towards Yon Pa during her stay there, as well as the care and love of the staff from Visiting Nurses Association and Hospice.
