Yolanda (DeNino) Pensiero, 89, of Farmington, passed from this life into the loving arms of her Savior on Wednesday, April 29, 2015. She was the loving wife of Albert Pensiero who went to be with the Lord in May of 2006. Born into a large family in Hartford on October 23, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Vincenzo and Antonietta DeNino. Upon the untimely death of her mother, most of the children became wards of the state. Though she lacked a traditional home growing up, she did a great job raising her four sons in a loving and caring home. She learned to cook and passed on many of her special recipes including pesto and meatballs with sauce to her children and grandchildren. Mom was a woman of faith and prayed for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren daily.
