Xakiah Ace William Loyd was born March 30th, 2016 to Cody and Casey Loyd, (due July 13th 2016) 1lb 15oz, 25 weeks gestational age. We lost our angel Wednesday morning of July 12th, 2017.
In his life he received 16 surgeries, fought and lived 1 year and 15 weeks exactly, that’s 470 amazing days. He spent 145 days in the NICU and was cared for by many of the St. Luke’s, St. Alphonsus, and OHSU nurses and doctors. Our family has had so much support from family, friends and strangers.
His sisters and brother love him so much. He brought so much joy to everyone around him. For the hand he was dealt he was the happiest little baby!
I always said I wanted one of my babies to just stay a baby forever, and now my gooey will. Our forever baby. We love you so much lil Ace, lil Joe, gooey, monkey, X-man, our baby Xakiah Ace William. Mommy and Daddy love you so much, and miss you so much. We can’t wait to see you again. 💚
