Woodrow Wilson Jones, Jr, passed peacefully at his Scottsdale home on February 9, 2016. “W” or Wilson, as he was affectionately known to his many friends, was an architect and partner in the award winning firm of Jones and Mah Architects. Wilson received a Bachelor of Architecture degree from North Carolina State University and a Masters in Architecture degree from Columbia University.
Wilson’s civic contributions were many including a role in the formation of Scottsdale Art Festival and as chairman of the Scottsdale Fine Arts Commission.
Wilson is survived by Michael and Gail Jones and their family, Janie Ellis Jones and many loving friends.
