Jamestown, Tennessee-Woodrow S. “Woody” Campbell, 49, passed away Early Tuesday morning, December 4, 2012, following a sudden illness at the Jamestown Regional Medical Center emergency room. He was born on March 17, 1963 in Jamestown, Tennessee, the son of Clifton Campbell and Alma (Winningham) Campbell Hysell.
Woodrow had attended Muncie and Jamestown city schools. He had been employed with the City of Muncie in the Sanitation Dept. for over ten years prior to his disability in 2000. Mr. Campbell enjoyed hunting, fishing and doing landscaping in his yard.
Survivors include his son, Tod Campbell, Selma; two daughters, Carey (boy friend-P.J. Parker) and Kristi Campbell both of Selma; former spouse, Tammy Campbell, Selma; father, Clifton Campbell, Jamestown, Tennessee; mother, Alma Hysell, Jamestown, Tennessee; one brother, Cliff Campbell (wife-Sandy), Muncie; one sister, Portia Boggs, Jamestown, Tennessee; several nieces and nephews; several great nieces and great nephews.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Lisa Brooks in 2010; maternal and paternal grandparents.
