Wondalee H. Meckes, 72, of Bethlehem, passed away on Saturday, October 17, 2015 in St. Luke’s Hospice House, Lower Sacuon Township. She was the wife of the late Clifford S. Meckes, Sr., who died in 2002.
Born in Palmerton, she was the daughter of the late Herman W. and Ruth E. (French) Heisler. Wondalee was a member of the former Grace Lutheran Church in Bethlehem and enjoyed sewing.
Survivors: Children, Christopher S. Meckes and his wife Cassandra of Fountain Hill, Clifford S. Meckes, Jr. and his wife Lisa of Catasauqua, Crystal S. Gilfert and her husband Bruce of Catasauqua and Wendy L. Meckes of Bethlehem; sisters, Barbara Stuber of Florida and Cidney Rodrigues of Virginia; 4 grandchildren and 3 step-grandchildren. Wondalee was preceded in death by sisters Althea Morrison and Dianne Siegfried.
