Winston L. Leefatt Jr., affectionately known as “Bruce,” died unexpectedly on September 22, 2021, at the age of 43 at his home, in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
He was born in Spanish Town, Jamaica, and lived in Port St. Lucie for eighteen years, coming from the Bronx. Before retiring, he was employed by Amerlinni Logistics in Palm City, Florida.
Winston was predeceased in death by his late father Winston Leefatt Sr. and is survived by: his mother Esther Clinton and stepfather Lonell Clinton. Following his daughters, Brianna, McKayla, and Azaria; sons Malik and Tyler; wife Esther Leefatt; brothers Leonard McKenzie, David Mahbier, and Terrence Dearlove; sisters Judith Mahbier and Trudel Dearlove; nephew Kevin Leefatt, Leonard McKenzie, jr., Jordan Robin, Anthony Mahbier; Aamire McKenzie; niece Kadijah McKenzie, Kimone Chin, Janisha Chin, Danie McKenzie, Maleah McKenzie, Jasmine Mahbier, Ariah McKenzie.
Winston was a devoted father to his children; he spent his last moment celebrating his daughter Azaria’s birthday. He was a spiritual man and was involved in reading his bible day and night. Winston will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who know him.
