With grace and dignity Gods faithful servant Winnie Lee Smith 79, was called to eternal life in heaven. Winnie was born to Clint and Pauline Wilson on May 1, 1942 in Roanoke Alabama after competing her education she married the love of her life and they made Newnan their home. As a faithful disciple of Christ she raised three generations as members of Mills Chapel. Winnie was a beloved employee at Playtex until its closure followed by Manheim until her retirement. Her amazing career pales in comparison to her unconditional love for her family. Life according to God’s word was her only priority in life making every sacrifice to keep her family close together.
Winnie is preceded in death by her devoted husband Gearld Ray Smith. Her son Dennis Ray Smith. Her Brother Randy. Great Grandsons Jayden, Victor, Vincent, Elijah, Hayden and and the most recent source of her happiness and pride, Graduate Landon Hull class of 2021 Leaving with a lifetime of loving memories her sister Betty (Pete) Brown and friend sister Myra Boone, and host of nieces and nephews. Her passing leaves a void in anyone who knew her.
