Bertha Winifred “Winnie” Davis, 90, of Centralia, IL, passed away on Monday, November 23, 2015 at Odin Healthcare Center. Winnie was born on May 3, 1925 in Centralia, a daughter to Harley Dulaney and Maude Dulaney Coffee. She married J.W. “Red” Davis on December 28, 1941 in St. Charles, MO and he preceded her in death on July 20, 2002.
Winnie is survived by two sons, Randy Davis and wife Brenda of Centralia and Terry Davis and wife Helena of Centralia; six grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Kenneth Dulaney of Centralia; brother-in-law, Paul Davis of Odin; and a sister-in-law, Helen Webster of Indiana. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Red; two sisters; and two brothers. Winnie worked for Siegler for a number of years. She was of the Baptist faith and a former member of Wamac Baptist Church. Winnie enjoyed reading, especially the newspaper, and loved the company of her family.
