Winifred “Winnie” C. Hiering, 84, of Ortley Beach, Toms River Twsp., died on Sunday December 8, 2013 at Community Medical Center, Toms River, NJ. Winnie was born in Newark, NJ, lived and went to grammar school in Seaside Park before moving and living most of her life in Ortley Beach, NJ.
She was instrumental in developing the southeastern area of Ortley Beach. She was a member of the Toms River Country Club. She is preceded in death by her brother Gerald Hiering in 2010. Surviving is her Uncle Albert F. Hiering and many loving friends.
