Winifred Dansereau Murphy passed away on Saturday, Nov. 26, 2022, in Meridian, Idaho.
She was born on August 6, 1934 in Fort Yates, North Dakota to Eli Alfonso Dansereau and Vida Kate Rush. She moved to Meridian as a teenager and attended Meridian High School.
She married Lloyd Murphy on Feb. 14, 1952. He passed away in May of 2013. She is preceded in death by her parents, her six brothers and two sisters, two grandsons, and two sons in law.
Winnie is survived by her son, Jack Murphy (Karrii) of Caldwell, daughters: Patty Baird (Bruce) of Star; Marjie Wilkie (Doug-deceased) of Grants Pass, Oregon; Jan Combe (Dean) of Eagle; Vicki Smith-Shurtliff (Tom) of Syracuse, Utah; and Jolene Campbell (Joel) of Provo, Utah. She has 20 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren.
She was a gifted seamstress and worked for many years at Pacific Upholstery.
Her most prized possession was her family who returned her love.
Many thanks to friends and staff at Alpine Meadows Assisted Living who made the last years of her life so enjoyable. She was known for doing puzzles and keeping the Pooh bear outside her door dressed for the current season and holidays.
