After a long battle with Alzheimer’s, Winifred passed away on April 20th, 2011 at her home in Franktown, CO.
Born July 27, 1925 in Birmingham, England to George L. Hope and Winifred J. Bayley, she was a resident of Los Angeles, teaching kindergarten children, Santa Barbara, working as a successful realtor, and in 1991finally residing in Franktown, CO as a senior volunteer at Franktown Elementary reading to the children.
Winifred’s shining quality and passion was instilling the love of reading into young minds.
