Winfield Webster departed this life November 25, 2021.

Winfield A. Webster, Sr., 83 years young.

Beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather, cousin, uncle, role model, friend, and most important- a child of God, entered eternal peace on Thanksgiving Thursday November 25, 2021.  Winfield is survived by his sunshine and the love of his life Delores Moore, daughters Diane (Gary) Gordon, Ophelia Trout, Marie Webster Khanga, Yvette Webster Windham, Georgana (Kevin) Mathews, Paulette Webster, sons, Winfield A. Webster Jr, and Kenneth (Chandrica) Moore, 20 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, brothers, Franklin Jones, and Rufus (Yvonne) Jones III, sister, Jo Ann Brown (sissy), a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. He is preceded in death by son, Warren N. Moore Jr, Son-in-law, Khali Khanga, sister, Odessa Jackson, brother, Walter G. Webster II, mother, Maude Elizabeth Jones, fathers, Walter G. Webster Sr, and Rufus Jones Jr.

W.W. loved old gospel hymns and opera music. He enjoyed tennis, bike riding, bowling, fishing, billiards (pool) and any fun activity that would bring the family together for good healthy competition. He always spoke about working at the Malibu (the very job that enabled him to buy his first house that provided shelter and stability for his children). He also held a job and did many things with his family’s company (Jones Trucking) where he was zealous and devoted to the mission and success of that company while it existed. W.W. held various other jobs that he put his whole heart into and created friends along the way. He worked for Thrifty car rental and was always the main source for the upkeep and grounds and maintenance for Southeast Apostolic Mission, for most of the duration that the church was in existence.

To know him was to love him. He had a kind heart and a sweet spirit. He had a witty sense of humor. His passion for dogs was immeasurable. He loved his family, he loved the church, and most of all, he loved the Lord. He accepted Jesus Christ as his personal savior a very long time ago. Although he has departed, he will live forever in our hearts.

WW you will be missed.
