Windy Renee Strickland, age 36, of 2012 Bob White Court, Mary Esther, FL passed away Thursday morning April 16, 2009 after losing her battle with colon cancer.
Windy was born January 5, 1973 at Travis Air Force Base, CA the daughter of Dick and Janice Porter.
Windy received her Bachelors of Environmental Science specializing in environmental policy. She attended the University of West Florida.
Her hobbies included taking care of her children, scuba diving, stained glass, and arts and crafts. She was of the Lutheran faith.
Windy possessed a passion for life which was only surpassed by her love for her family.
Her children where always center stage in her life, placing their needs above everything else. Windy touched the heart of everyone fortunate to have known her. Her determination to always reach higher and to push farther in everything she pursued, was driven by her desire to lead her life by example for all her friends, family, and most importantly her children.
