Mr. Wilson E. “Mud Hole” Branch, 84, of Lanett, AL passed away on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at LaFayette Extended Care in LaFayette, AL.
Mr. Branch is survived by his two daughters, Willene (Toby) Nixon and Marian (Hal) Hodnett; his three grandchildren, Noah White, Josh (Kieri) Hodnett, and Faith (Travis) Duncan; his ten great grandchildren, Bailey Sorrell, Brody Sorrell, Jacob Clark, Charlies Clark, Brycen Nixon, Elizabeth Johnson, Gage Duncan, Suzanna Duncan, L. J. Hodnett, and Westlee Hodnett; his brother, Wayne Branch; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Branch; his sister, Waydene Taylor; and his son-in-law, Ray White.
Mr. Branch was born on September 7, 1933 in Alexander City, AL to the late J. C. and Linnie Branch. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who greatly enjoyed the outdoors. He was a U.S. Army veteran who enjoyed helping others and the company of his friends. He was of the Christian faith and loved to spend time with his family.
