Wilmia Madeline Webb, age 81, formerly of Spruce Street, Grafton, passed away Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at Rosewood Center, Grafton. She was born September 22, 1929, in Braxton County, WV, a daughter of the late Faye G. Ware and Pearl (Watson) Ware. She was preceded by her first husband, Thomas U. White, and her second husband, Dewey Webb.
Mrs. Webb was the owner of the former White’s Grocery of Grafton and a homemaker. She was an avid gardener and a good cook. She loved her dog Sammy very much.
Surviving are: one son, Thomas G. White, Sr., of Blackstone, VA; three grandchildren, Thomas G. White, Jr., Grafton, Jamie N. White and John “Jay” D. White, both of Chesterfield, VA; three great grandchildren, Devon White, Madeline White, and Jaden White; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by: two brothers, Faye Ware, Jr., and Dale Ware; two sisters, Gladys Lundy, and Virginia Ford; and two sisters in infancy, Elizabeth June Ware and Billie Maxine Ware.
