Wilma Maxine Hall, 88, of Salem, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, June 29, 2019, at Southfork River Therapy and Living Center in Salem.
She was born in Sturkie, Arkansas on April 1, 1931, daughter of the late William Simpson and Roxie Mae (Workman) Hammond. Maxine spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother and friend. She was united in marriage to the late Johnson Joseph Hall in Byron, Arkansas on August 30, 1946 and from this union four children were born. Maxine worked at the shirt factory and then retired from the Baxter Lab after 18 years. She was a member of Salem First Baptist Church.
Maxine is survived by her children, Wilma Crouch of Salem, Arkansas, Rex Hall and wife Mary of Sturkie, Arkansas and Roger Hall of Sturkie, Arkansas; nine grandchildren, Tamala Ary and husband Stacy of Missouri, Brien Hall and wife Julea of Ash Flat, Arkansas, Christopher Hall and wife Tabitha of Mountain Home, Arkansas, Jonathan Hall, Randy Crouch and wife Heather of Wiseman, Arkansas, Melissa Ray of Salem, Arkansas, Stephanie Crouch of Salem, Arkansas, Reagan Martin of Viola, Arkansas and Savannah Ingram and husband Clay of Ash Flat, Arkansas; 23 great grandchildren and 19 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnson J. Hall; son, Jerry Lee Hall; parents, William and Roxie Hammond; sisters, Lorene Mobley, Hester Hammond and Iva Jean Williams; brothers, Abe Hammond, Tony Hammond, Lester Hammond and Jack Hammond; three infant siblings; niece, Bea; son-in-law, Bennie Crouch; three great grandsons and grandson-in-law, Doug Ray.
