Wilma Dean Karns was born Wilma Dean Shrum on November 4. 1935 to Dale Shrum and Bessie Turner Shrum. Dean attended school in Salina Oklahoma. In 1951 she married Donald Jennings and moved to the Norman area through this union three children were born. Dean worked as a nursing assistant at Norman Regional Hospital and the State hospital. In 1975 she married Richard Karns and shared a life for 25 years. Dean was a loving and caring mother and grandmother and relished moments with family and friends. She was active in church and made many friends while selling Avon. She had a great sense of humor and everyone loved being with her.
Dean is proceeded in death by her husband Richard Karns. Dean had three children Dale Jennings and wife Susie of Noble, Barbara Reeves of Lexington and Tim Jennings and wife Janice of Norman. 10 grandchildren and 22 great grand children. One brother Oman Shrum and wife Pat of Pryor OK and many other loved ones. She will be dearly missed.
