Mrs. Wilma Harper Vowell, 87, a resident of LaGrange, GA formerly of Shawmut passed away Sunday, October 5, 2014 at the West Georgia Medical center in LaGrange.
Survivors include her son, Jodie Vowell and granddaughter, Marcia Vowell both of LaGrange; nephews, Michael Harper of Cusseta and Ricky Harper of Conyers, GA; niece, Sherry Harper Conway of Valley; sister-in-law, Ruby Harper of Valley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sodie Vowell.
Born in Randolph County, Mrs. Vowell had formerly worked at Home Builders. She loved to cook and sew and was an avid University of Alabama fan. She was of the Baptist faith.
