She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Alice (Schonewise) Halter; husband, Leland Sutton in 2001; sister, Iva Reid; her brother, Kenny Halter; and a sister in infancy.
Wilma grew up in Melbourne, Iowa and lived most of her working life in Mingo, Iowa.
