Wilma Faye Mabry, 89, of Morehead, Kentucky, best known as “Granny” to everyone, passed away Sunday, November 15, 2020, with her children at her bedside at St. Claire Regional HealthCare.

Born January 25, 1931, in Clio, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Gracie Carpenter Groves. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Mabry; her siblings: Maywood, Herb, Audrey, Paul, Dwight, Earl, and Barb. 

She is survived by four children: Karen Mabry King of Sevierville, Tennessee, Pam Mabry-Clark (Harry), David Mabry (Anne), and Lorrina White (Keith), all of Morehead, Kentucky. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren: Kevin, Chastity, Crissie, Sierra, Lauren, Tracy, Mandi, and Lori; 11 great grandchildren: Paige, Sydney, Kayla, Bella, Benji, Dawson, McKenna, Cannon, Lynlee, Kayden, Lilah, and Landon; and 2 great-great grandkids, Kylie and Shayla.

She is also survived by three sisters: Shirley Stump (Tom), OraMae Elmore (Bill) and Carolyn Daugherty, all of West Virginia, as well as many nieces and nephews who loved their “Aunt Wilma.”

Wilma was a homemaker, a loving wife, mother, and Granny.

Granny, you will be missed by so many and we promise “We will drive safe and watch for deer” WE PROMISE….
