Wilma E Talbert George, 83, Anderson, died October 11, 2008 at her residence. She was born April 28, 1925 in Madison County, and resided in Anderson.
She has lived in this area most of her life. She retired from Delco Remy division of General Motors. She ran the concession stand for the Meadowbrook Little League in the 60’s and 70’s. She enjoyed playing bingo.
She is survived by her children; John Rhonda George of North Salem, IN., Ralph Carol George Jr. of Anderson, James Renee George of Anderson, Mary “Bonnie” Lyons Bob of Anderson, and Betty Morgan of Anderson. A brother; Richard Talbert of Anderson. Twelve grandchildren; Angel Roseboom, Riley George, Daniel George, Branden George, Alesha Gillum, Dustin Rushton, Robert Thornburgh, Chris Blake, Shelly Breece, Kellie Beck, Ted Garriott, and Robbie Lyons.
Three great grandchildren; Carter Roseboom, Claire Roseboom, and Brookelynne George Also surviving is a special friend; Bonnie Merlo of Largo, FL. and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband; Ralph George Sr. in 2006. Her parents; John Joseph and Pearl Smith Talbert and her brothers Elmer Talbert, Wilbur Talbert, and Ralph Talbert.
