STRAUGHN- Wilma Doretha Query, 87, passed away Wednesday evening October 31, 2018 at the Heritage House in New Castle, Indiana. A daughter of the late Clarence and Ethel Gertrude (Paul) Rummel, Wilma was born on the “Rummel Homeplace”, north of Dublin in Wayne County, Indiana on August 14, 1931. She lived most of her life in Henry County and graduated from Lewisville High School with the class of 1949. Wilma and her late husband, “Ike” Query farmed and raised their family north of Straughn. She was a homemaker and worked at Firestone, Sears Department Store and as a night clerk at Raintree Inn in New Castle. She also worked at Brookes Cannery in Mt. Summit and was a Stanley Home Products and Tupperware representative. In her leisure, Wilma enjoyed word search puzzles, knitting and crocheting.
