Wilma Denise Buckner, the daughter of Edward and Mary (Lawrence) Buckner, was born on September 18, 1959 in Chicago, Illinois. She graduated from Martin Luther King High School in Chicago. Wilma attended Prairie State College in Chicago Heights, IL. Left to cherish Wilma’s memory are her children, Robin Buckner of Phoenix, AZ, Demetrice Buckner and his girlfriend Jena of Algona and Terrence Buckner and his wife Wilvelisse of Colorado Springs, CO; fiancé, George Riggins of Algona; two grandchildren, Jhane Buckner of Colorado Springs, CO and Caiden Buckner of Algona; four sisters, Ernestine (Jerry) Hinton of Britt and Dorothea Buckner of Chicago, Mary Lynn Buckner of Bowling Green, KY and Yvette Buckner of Chicago; and two brothers, Robert Buckner of Clear Lake and Thomas Buckner of Chicago. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Edward Buckner.
