Wilma Bolyard Spangler Carder

Wilma Bolyard Spangler Carder, 91 of Kingwood, WV died peacefully at Janet’s Heavenly Home , Fellowsville, WV on October 4, 2015.

She was born September 12, 1924, near Tunnelton, WV a daughter of the late Asa and Nellie Wolfe Bolyard.

Wilma was an active member of the Camp Chapel United Methodist Church where she held offices at various times as Sunday School Superintendent, Sunday School teacher, president and treasurer of UMW, member of administrative board, Bible study leader, and church treasurer.

She is survived by her two daughters, Janet Kay Marshall and husband Allen, and Lisa Joann Campbell. Also surviving is a brother, Donal Keith Bolyard and wife Jean. There are seven grandchildren, Amy Long and husband Chris, Janna Puetz and husband Brady, Aaron Marshall and wife Lisa, Joel Marshall and wife Heather, Markland Benson and wife Dr. Stephanie Benson, Levi Beaton and Kayla, and Joanna Moore. There are twenty great grandchildren.

Stepchildren, are Roy Allen and wife Joyce and Darlene Ervin. Step- grandchildren, Joshua Allen and wife Becky, Judson Allen and Deirdra Ervin Phillips and husband Matt, and three step-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her beloved husband of nearly 22 years, Dareld D. Carder on December 9, 2005 and a step-grandson, Daniel Ervin.

The family expresses their sincere thanks for the wonderful care provided by the staff of Janet’s Heavenly Home and Amedisys Hospice.
