Willowdean Marie Arbuckle Murray, 78, Anderson, died October 27, 2008, at Manor Care, in Anderson after an extended illness.
She was born July 19, 1930, in Marion, and had lived in the Grant and Madison county areas all of her life. She worked at RCA in Marion and several businesses in Alexandria during her lifetime. A member of 1st United Methodist Church in Alexandria; her family was her first priority. She also enjoyed reading, bowling and camping.
Survivors include her daughter, Belinda Mabbitt & husband, Larry; son, Timothy Murray & wife, LeaAnn; sister, Imogene Lowden & husband, Frank; two grandchildren, Jennifer Lynn & husband, Ed Stallsmith and Joshua & wife, Lori Murray; great granddaughter, Elizabeth Stallsmith and lots of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, whom she married August 10, 1947, Willis Carlton Murray on December 15, 2002; her parents, Carl & Gladys Payne Arbuckle and a son, Joseph Carlton Murray.
