Willis “Willie” Lynn Steele, 52, of Mathias, WV (formerly of Bridgeport), passed away after an extended illness. He was born in Clarksburg, WV on June 20, 1959 the son of Mason W. Steele and Loretta Mae Davis Steele. In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife Theresa Mae (Russell) Steele whom he married May 25, 2003. He is also survived by one daughter; Lori Beth Steele of Fairmont; three step-children; Tabitha Bennett of Mathias, WV; Trisha McKinney and husband Nicholas of Clarksburg and Timothy Bennett and wife Chrissy of Mathias, WV and eight step grandchildren who loved their papaw very much; Brian McKinney, Nicholas McKinney, Keana McKinney, Josh McKinney, Alex McKinney, Aleah McKinney, Hunter Ward and Hannah Bennett; a nephew Ryan M. Larosa of Georgia and one sister; Melinda Larosa and husband David of Atlanta, Georgia. He loved his dog Charlie, who was his best friend and companion. Willie worked as an Inspector in Highway Construction. He lived his life to the fullest every day. He loved camping, fishing, hunting and spending time with his friends in the outdoors.
