Mr. Willis Criswell, 87, of Greenwood, went home to be with the Lord on the early morning of July 13, 2018 in Greenwood. He was born October 25, 1930 in Monticello, Kentucky, a son of the late Marion and Lora Edna (Gregory) Criswell.
Willis attended school in Kentucky and moved to Indiana in the 1950’s. He loved to build which led to a long career as a self-employed contractor.
Willis loved playing Bluegrass music and his string guitar. He also enjoyed being outdoors and loved working in his yard as well as gardening. Willis stayed busy with his projects that he did.
Willis is survived by his children Deborah (Lonnie) Thompson, Denise Finney, David (Brenda) Criswell, Donald (Vickey) Criswell, Daniel (Kim) Criswell, Dennis (Landra) Criswell and Douglas (Kimberly) Criswell; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his siblings, Kellie Criswell and Mavis Hill as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Carol Ann Criswell; two sons, Devon Criswell and Dean Criswell and his siblings, Irene, Jim, Leva and Lilly.
