Willie Wallin, 71, of 29498 C.R. 6, died at 7:12 p.m. Monday (July 9, 2007) in Elkhart General Hospital, apparently of a heart attack.
She was born Sept. 20, 1935, in Clopton, Ala., to Roy and Mary (Harrison) Wilkinson.
She is survived by one son, Terry Wallin of Elkhart; her companion of 37 years, LeRoy Chaffee Jr. of Elkhart; two brothers, James Roy Wilkinson of Skipperville, Ala., and Alvin (Martha) Wilkinson of Phenix City, Ala.; and one sister, Versie (Gar) Overton of Ozark, Ala.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Jane Wilkinson.
Ms. Wallin was a graduate of Carroll High School, Ozark, Ala. She was a lifetime member of the John Birch Society. She worked for Whitehall Laboratories for 40 years before retiring. She loved working in her flower garden and spending time with her family.
