He is survived by his sons, Aaron Barrett, Eric Barrett, Brandon Johnson, all of Leesburg, Florida, and Christopher Scales, of Indiantown, Florida; daughters, Tiffany Barrett, of Leesburg, Florida, and Champagne Scales, of Indiantown, Florida; fourteen grandchildren; brothers, Elvis A. Barrett, John Barrett, III (Laverne), and Victor Greene; sisters, Sandra Barrett-Reed and Sharon Barrett, all of Okeechobee.
