Brother Willie Louis Love Sr. was born April 24, 1933 in Limestone County, Alabama to the late Elder James Love Sr and Florence Burns Love. He was called to glory to be with his Heavenly Father the morning of March 25, 2014 surrounded by his family.
He accepted Christ as his personal savior at an early age under the leadership of the late Reverend Jenkins Blackburn and joined New Hope C.P. Church.
He was a kind and warm hearted man known to many as “Tank” or “Shorty”. He was employed by Universal Construction Company for thirty years. He was known for many trades, however his passion was taking care of his home garden.
He was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Annie Dee Love in December of 1956 and to this union nine children were born. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents and one sibling, Elder James Love Jr.
He leaves to cherish his memory: six devoted daughters; Revelar (Earl) Caudle of Huntsville, AL; Betty Love of Opelika, AL; Florence (Terry) Goodlow of Decatur, AL; Clarice (Derek) Carr of Triana, AL; and Sharon Love, Mimie “Precious” Love of Madison, AL; four devoted sons, Ernest Love, Willie Love of Madison, AL, James (Beverly) Love of Triana, AL; Craig (Monica) Love Knoxville, TN; six sisters, Laura (J.D.) Jefferson, Chattanooga TN, Lillie Wilson, Donnie (Theodore) Cook of Huntsville, AL, Sherrie (Darwin) Hobbs of Atlanta, GA, Mimie Love Madison, AL, Jacqueline Cosby Athens, AL; six brothers, Wesley (Florence) Love, J.W. (Lottie) Love , Robert Fullenwilder of Madison, AL, Richard (Climmie) Love of Huntsville, AL, William (Karen) Love, Dallas Texas and Travis Love of Triana, AL; 19 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; three sisters-in-law, Mamie (James) Sandifer Sr., Madison AL, Delois Harper of Decatur, AL, Dorothy Love of Huntsville, AL; one brother-in-law, Calvin Thatch of Madison, AL. and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
