Funeral Service for Willie Lee Willams of Decatur, Alabama will be 1:00 P.M., Sunday, August 14, 2011 at Macedonia Cumberland Presbyterian Church in America with the Reverend Dr. G.
Willie Lee Williams was born February 10, 1936 in Morgan County, Alabama to the late George and Jearline Garth Williams Sr. He was transitioned to eternal life on August 9, 2011 at Decatur General Hospital.
Willie Lee accepted Christ at an early age at Moulton Heights M.B. Church and later joined Macedonia CP Church in America where he served faithfully.
He was a very loving and giving person.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Mary Lou Jolly Williams, his parents and his uncle, Robert Garth.
He leaves to cherish his memory a beloved daughter, Nakia (Jeremy) Anderson, Harvest, AL, three grandchildren, Darris Moore, Nevaeh Anderson and Ayrien Watkins, three brothers, Robert (Annie Sue) Williams of Decatur, AL, George (Donna) Williams of New Market, AL,and Earl Williams of Cleveland, OH, three sisters, Hazel G. Jones of Philadelphia, PA, Eva M.Robinson of Red Bay, AL and Wanda Williams of Huntsville, AL, one aunt, Delsie Williams of Decatur, AL, two special nieces, Coretta (Troy) Carroll of Decatur, AL and Brenda (William) Sharpley of Hartselle, AL, four special nephews, Trey and Troy Elliott Jr, Antoini Anderson and Gary Freeman, special extended family of children, Elversia “Horse” Anderson, Latrice Anderson, Jarvis Anderson and their mother, Caroline Anderson, special friend, Yvonne and Tonya Barrett and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
