Willie James Hicks traded time for eternity on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 while in the Veterans Administration Medical Center, Tuskegee, AL. Born December 27, 1951 to Susan Hicks, he was sixty six years of age. After graduating from the Clarke County Public School system he served his country through the US Army. A member of the Mt. Olive #2 Missionary Baptist Church in Jackson, AL, he served with the Laymen Department and the Pastoral Support Ministries. He brought his “fix it man” skills as a part of the Depot Reunion Committee.
Preceding him in death are his mother, Susan Hicks; and sister, Elizabeth Hicks Brown.
Willie leaves to forever cherish his precious memories his daughter, Su’Kova Hicks, Tuscaloosa, AL; nieces and nephews, Felicia Watkins Pritchett, Jacory Pritchett, Reana Pritchett and Moesha Pritchett, all of Walker Springs, AL and Willie Brown; special friends, Jerry Adams and Alvin Jones; other relatives and friends.
