Willie James “Hamm” Beans, 79, of LaSalle, passed away Sunday evening, July 25, 2021 at Elevate Care Chicago North, Chicago.
Willie was born May 8, 1942 in Pace, Mississippi to Bill and Carrie (Lucas) Beans. He was a maintenance supervisor at the Concordia Rod and Gun Club for many years and was a member of the Eastern Star Baptist Church.
Willie enjoyed fishing, hunting, and target shooting. Survivors include his 10 children, Johnny (Patricia) Gadison of Ottawa, Willie (Betty) Gadison, Jr. of Rosedale, Mississippi, Mary G. (Garnell) Mond, Michael Gadison, and James (Paula) Gadison all of LaSalle, Kevin (Deanna) Gadison of Mansfield, Ohio, David Gadison and Derrick Gadison both of LaSalle, Antonio (Heather) Gadison of Peru, and Verlena (James) Wilson of Gunnison, Mississippi; 28 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; the mother of his children, Lula Mae Gadison of Gunnison, Mississippi, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and seven siblings
