Mr. Allen peacefully passed away at his residence with his wife of fifty-six years, Alice, at his side. He is a retiree of the United States Navy and a Deacon at Mt.

Viewing is Tuesday, October 8th from 5:000 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mortuary.

On July 7, 1935, Willie James Allen, a beautiful, bouncing baby boy, was born in Arcadia, Oklahoma. He was the youngest of three children born to Robert and Bessie Allen. He was lovingly called “Red” by family and friends. The family moved to Blyth, California six months after Willie James was born. Eight years later they moved back to Oklahoma where he attended elementary through high school. He accepted Christ and was baptized at an early age in Oklahoma.

In 1955, Willie enlisted into the United States Navy. He completed boot camp at the Naval Training Center in San Diego, California. Afterwards, he was transferred to Norman, Oklahoma, where he attended Naval Air Training School. There, he met the love of his life, the beautiful Mary Alice Johnson. This was a whirlwind courtship. Shortly after meeting, Mary had to return to college while Willie was being transferred to Memphis, Tennessee, to continue his career as a jet airplane mechanic. He was then sent to Kingsville, Texas.

On October 12, 1957, Willie & Mary were united in marriage. This was the beginning of nearly fifty-six years of love, happiness, dedication and trust. Their union was beautifully blessed with four children and six grandchildren.

During his Naval career, Willie, along with his family was relocated to numerous Naval bases, including; Moffett Field, California where he served as an engineer on the C130 Airplane, Alaska and San Diego, California.

Willie was a devoted family man, always putting his family first. He united with the Mt.

On Tuesday, October 1, 2013, Willie James Allen, Sr. was called from earthly labor to receive his eternal reward. He leaves behind a devoted and loving wife, Mary Alice; sons, Willie Jr. and his wife, Rachel of Orlando, Florida and Lemont of San Diego, California; daughters, Pamela of San Diego, California and Paula of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; grandsons, Michael and Connor; granddaughters, Ashley, Jacqueline, Jocelyn and Mary Clare; siblings, Vivian Jones and Mosley Allen and his wife, Willa of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; one aunt, Sarah Mosley of Carson, California and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends who will mourn his passing, yet celebrate his homegoing.
