Mr. William Frank Brown, Sr., also known as Willie, Sr., was born on May 7, 1944 in Roanoke, Alabama to Henry “Dude” and Mary Brown. Willie, Sr. attended Randolph County Training School and was known as the left handed quarterback. Grady Brown, his older brother, assisted in his 27 years as a butcher for Food Giant Grocery Stores. On June 6, 1966, he married Nancy M. Bell and moved to Atlanta, Georgia. Together they raised four children, Willie Jr., Derrick, Theresa and Tennisha. He later married Arnita L. Vintes-Brown. With this union, his family expanded to include two stepsons: John L. Adams and Antonio L. Adams and stepdaughter Anitra Adams Bennett. Willie Sr.
