Alpine, AL – Mr. Willie Dale Nettles, Jr. was born on December 18, 1968 to the parentage of Thelma Jackson Nettles and the late Willie Dale Nettles, Sr. in Talladega County, Alabama.

 Mr. Nettles accepted Christ on June 21, 1992.  He was led to the Lord by Minister Bobbie Keith, while working at Georgia Pacific in Talladega, Alabama.  He followed her to Faith Temple Ministries and remained for the duration of his life.  During this time he has ministered with the Prison Fellowship Ministries and taught the Word of God. 

 He was employed with Georgia Pacific until 2006.

 On June 28, 2009 he united in Holy Matrimony to Shashta Calloway and the became one with God.  He loved God and he loved his wife and family.  He loved spending quality time with Pastor James Curry and the brothers.  He was an avid sports fan and he loved Alabama Football.

 Willie was a 1987 graduate of Childersburg High School in Childersburg, Alabama. 

 He was preceded in death by his father, Willie Dale Nettles, Sr.

 Willie fought a good fight until the end.  On Sunday, April 15, 2018 he relinquished the cares of this world to be in Glory with God the father and his savior, Jesus Christ. 

 He leaves to cherish his loving and devoted wife, Minister Shashta Nettles of Alpine, AL; mother, Thelma Nettles of Childersburg, AL; daughter, Ravin (Christopher) Cook of Hampton, GA; son, Keenon Calloway of Alpine, AL;  three sisters, Sherry Ford of Birmingham, AL; Carla (Dwanold) Bryant of Frederick, MD; and Beverly Nettles of Childersburg, AL; mother in law, Elmer Calloway of Alpine, AL; sister in laws, Sherry (Jerry) Lawson of Alpine, AL; Consuella Datcher of Harvest, AL; brother in laws, George Calloway of Harvest, AL; and Timothy Calloway of Alpine, AL; three grandchildren, Avrielle Cook, Andrew Cook, and Kinzley Calloway; nephews, Cordarryl (Arrica) Nettles, Dwanold Bryant, Jr. and Christian Bryant; nieces, Meyosha Ford, and Troynesia Ford; great nieces, Destiny Nettles, Malayah Thomas and Arria Nettles; Special friends, Minister Bobbie Keith, Bro. Tyrone Hardy, Bro. Brice Seals and Minister Greg (Myra) McKinney;  a very special thank you to Sis. Nellye Heath and Bro. Jeremiah Barclay.
