Willie Colombus Overstreet, 59, passed away at his residence in Wagarville, Alabama on Friday, December 4, 2015. Willie is preceded in death by his parents, Woodie Colombus Overstreet and Dorothy Sheffield Weaver; and a granddaughter, Chelsea BriAnne Carpenter.
He is survived by his daughter, Christy (Bubba) Carpenter of St. Stephens, AL; son, Jason Overstreet of Wagarville, AL; brother, Nathan Overstreet of Hebron, AL; sisters, Laurine (Kenny) Johnson of Rockville, AL, Dorothy (Phil) Gilchrist of Jackson, AL, and Betty (Stevie) Gilchrist of Jackson, AL. Grandchildren: Chloe Danielle & James Donovan Carpenter; McKenzie Michelle Overstreet; Isaiah Daniel Marler
Willie was an avid fisherman that was completely devoted to his loving children and grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by those fortunate enough to have known him.
