CREEDMOOR- Mr. Willie Clifton “Clif” Tant, Sr., 56, passed away on September 9, 2021.
Mr. Tant was born August 29, 1965, to Willie Gray Tant and the late Carolyn Crabtree Tant in Durham, NC. Clif was one of the most talented and gifted painters in the area. He was a classic car enthusiast and could tell you the make and model of any car just by looking at the tail lights, especially his ’67 Oldsmobiles. He enjoyed being outside, fishing, doing yard work, or working on one of his vehicles or lawnmowers. Clif loved his family, especially the time spent with his grandkids. He will be deeply missed.
In addition to his mother, Clif is preceded in death by his sister, Donna Michelle Lane.
Clif is survived by his father, Willie Gray Tant; daughters, Brittany Strickland (Justin), Sarah Beth Tant, and Jennifer Cisneros (Alex); sons, Brandon Watson and CJ Tant (Solange); brother, Jody Tant (Cindy); sister, Lorraine Tant Turner; aunt, Mary Frances Cates; his loving grandchildren, Nolan Gray Strickland, Charli Jo Strickland, Scarlett Eve Dolinger, Emma Tant, Jordan Tant, Jaylan Cisneros, Ainslee Cisneros, Bexley Watson, and Caydon Watson; nieces, Heather Turner and Kaitlin Wolfe; and nephews, Dustin Tant, Michael Tant, and Marty Lane.
