Mr. Willie Bernard Cross Jr. was born September 26, 1958 in Columbia, South Carolina. He was the beloved son of the late Willie Bernard Cross Sr. and the late Geraldine Young Cross. He departed this life and entered into the realm of the Ancestors on Wednesday September 27, 2023 in Columbia, South Carolina.
“Willie B” as family and friends affectionately called him, attended W.J.Keenan High School in Richland County. He was employed as a heavy equipment operator for many years of loving service.
Mr. Cross was a long time member of Trinity Baptist Church prior to him joining St. Paul Baptist Church.
Willie B was endearing to his family and community. He was genuine with a very vivid smile that would brighten anyones day. To have known him, you would have had to love him. He was one of the most sweet spirited, well mannered people you could have ever known. He remained true to himself and to the people who embraced him without judgement.
He was a loving and devoted son, uncle and friend whose loving, kind and giving spirit will be remembered by all whose lives he so lovingly touched.
Those left to cherish fond and precious memories of Willie B are his two loving sisters, Angela (Jimmie) Wright and Vickie Cross both of Columbia, South Carolina and a host of other loving relatives and dear friends all of whom will miss him dearly.
