Willie James Allen, 72, of Oxnard, passed away Friday, Mar. 9, at St. John’s Reg. Medical Ctr.
He was born September 11, 1939, the fourth child of nine from the parents of John and Ernie Allen.
Willie was born in Haughton, LA, then came to Oxnard, CA, in 1957 and met the love of his life Pearl Jackson. Later then they got married and had three kids, six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Willie was a loving husband, uncle and cousin, son, father, but mostly friend.
Willie is preceded by his mother and father John and Ernie Allen, his sister Lily Mae, and his two brothers, Luther and John Jr.
Willie leaves mourn to his loving wife Pearl Allen; his three children, Mitchell, Veronica and Versie Allen; six grandchildren, Shamina, Brenton, Allan, Tia, Michelle and Brandon; three great grandchildren, Azia, Jordan and Bri’ell; four sisters, Olivia, Dorothy, Nannie and Mildred; Three brothers, Roy, J.J. and Herbert; a friend and caregiver, Clyde Johnson; and a host of friends, nieces and nephews.
