William “Bill” Wright Shaffer, Jr. of Bayville, NJ died Saturday, January 18th, 2014 at Tallwoods Care Center in Bayville. Born in Brooklyn, NY, Bill lived in Bergen County before moving to Bayville. He worked for Efficiency Oil Company in Jersey City for many years.
He is survived by his loving wife, Connie Shaffer, his son, William W. Shaffer III., his daughters, Sheryl A. White and Nicole M. Shaffer, his siblings, Thomas , Joan, Ruth and Mildred and his grandchildren, Christian, Samantha, RJ, Chloe, Billy, Melissa, Anthony and Angela. Bill is preceded in death by his parents William and Mildred Shaffer and by his sister Theresa.
