Billy was born in Maysville on March 15, 1960 son of Jean Purdon Florence of May’s Lick and the late William L. “Bill” Florence.
Survivors other than his mother are a son, Nathan Florence of Richmond and 2 daughters, Melissa (Jonathan) Carter of Carlisle and Mindy Florence of Concord, NC. 4 grandchildren, Katie Carter, Kayla Florence, Zachary Florence and Jade Florence. 5 sisters, Shirley (Jack) Smalley of Wallingford, Janet (Randy Barker) Miller of Alexandria, Kathy (Kitt) Miller of Maysville, Angie (Chris) Spencer of May’s Lick, Robin (Gary) Warrick of Somerset. 1 brother, Terry Florence of Lexington.
