William Bill Warma, 77, of O’Fallon, Ill., born May 22, 1930 in Belleville, Ill., died Thursday, September 20, 2007 at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, Ill.

Bill was a member of the O’Fallon United Church of Christ, IRTA-Illinois Retired Teachers Assn., Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Music Fraternity and a member of the choir at O’Fallon United Church of Christ, as well as various other vocal groups. Bill had been a music teacher at O’Fallon School District 90, O’Fallon Township District 203, West Junior High in Belleville, Belleville Area College and had worked at Ludwig Aeolian as a drum teacher. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving in the Korean War.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore Karl & Carrie Mae, nee Barrow, Warma, mother-in-law & father-in-law; Carl & Ella Jane, nee Corbier, Barth Sr., and 2 brothers-in-law; William “Bill” Barth & Carl Barth Jr. Bill is survived by his wife Ruth A., nee Barth, Warma of O’Fallon, Ill., 2 daughters; Luralee (Timothy) DeFosset of St. Jacob, Ill., Bobbie (Tom) Blome of O’Fallon, Ill., a sister Norma Lee (Jerry) Tonnell, Montgomery, Ala., a sister-in-law Nina, nee Battoe, Barth of Belleville, Ill., an uncle Harold (Arline) Barrow of St. Louis, MO, , a niece Susan (Kent) Hornsby of Montgomery, Ala., a nephew Brian (Jenny) Tonnell of Enid, OK, 5 grandchildren; Megan Warma, Chris Blome, Scotty Blome, Ashleigh and Allyson DeFosset.
