William Thomas “Tom” Ravens, 51, of O’Fallon, IL, passed away on Thursday, July 1, 2021, at Memorial East in Shiloh, IL with his friend by his side.William was born July 15, 1969, in St. Louis, MO. After graduating high school, he continued his education by obtaining his associate degree from ITT Technical College before continuing with his career. William loved outdoor activities such as fishing, gardening, and camping.
He was an avid gun collector, enjoyed watching British television such as Doctor Who, and The Grateful Dead. William also had an abnormal obsession for candy, and he jumped out of perfectly good planes for no reason so much that he enjoyed skydiving. William will be missed by those who loved him. William was preceded in death by his parents; William T. and Mary Ann Ravens (nee Koester), and one uncle; James Koester.Surviving is his beloved friend; Melissa Louise Labruyere, one sister; Theresa (Toni) Eckstein of Des Peres, MO, one brother; Robert Ravens of Florissant, MO, one niece; Cheyenne Eckstein, and one nephew; Austin Eckstein.
