William Terry Wilkes, age 75, passed away at Mizell Memorial Hospital on the early morning of Friday, January 27, 2017, following an extended illness.
He is survived by one son, Scott Wilkes; Scott’s mother, Mildred Herring; one sister, Betty Wilkes Hattaway; nephews, Charles (Patricia) Beddingfield and David Beddingfield; one stepdaughter, Linda Pate; one stepson, Gerald Stokes; and five step-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Ruby Wilkes; stepdaughter Cathy Anderton; and step-grandsons Johnny and Kenny Bledsoe.
