William T. McDonald
1921 – 2009
William Tommy McDonald was born March 22, 1921. He left this earth to spend eternity with his Heavenly Father on December 19, 2009. His parents were James B. and Cora McDonald. He was born in Fox, Oklahoma and later moved to Forsan, Texas where he graduated from high school in May 1940. He joined the Army Air Force in August 1940. During the next 22 and half years he served in Italy with the 376 Bomb group. He was stationed in Guam, Ottawa, Canada, Fort Walton Beach, and Germany.
After his retirement from the Air Force the family moved to Fort Walton Beach where he worked for a number of insurance companies. He was an active member of our community, serving as Scout Master, member of the Masonic Lodge and the Scottish Rite.
