William T. “Bill” Youdbulis, 86, Elkhart, passed away peacefully at Golden Living Center in Elkhart.

He was born July 15, 1929, in Jacksonville, Ill., to the late Thomas William and Ethel (Denny) Youdbulis, and is preceded in death by his former spouse Barbara Jean Brandenburg, two brothers and two sisters. He married Mildred E. “Millie” (Hossler) Wagoner on May 30, 1987, in Elkhart, where she survives him at home.

Also surviving are his son, Thomas W. Youdbulis of Plymouth; daughter Debbie Youdbulis of South Bend; and grandson Matthew Youdbulis.

Bill’s life will be celebrated beginning with a visitation at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 3415 Pleasant Plain Ave., Elkhart, on Saturday, Feb. 13 at 9 a.m., followed by a funeral service there at 10 a.m. Bishop Richard Sessions will officiate and burial will follow at Southlawn Cemetery in South Bend, with military honors rendered by the U.S. Army Funeral Honor Guard and Osceola DAV 308. Billings Funeral Home of Elkhart has been assisting the family with arrangements.

Bill was a self-employed over-the-road truck driver for almost 40 years, hauling mostly steel. He was a member of the LDS Church, 2nd Ward, a 32nd Degree Mason, and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was also an avid fan of the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame and any sports team beginning with “Chicago,” especially the Cubbies.
